CCQ payroll software: timesheets, competency cards and payroll preparation
Construction payroll has its collective agreements, its 13% and its cards that expire one at a time. BatiCore keeps them — and deliberately stops where official transmission begins.
What the module does
- Timesheets fed by clock-ins, to approve before payroll; anomalies flagged before payment — unusual hours, duplicates, suspicious punches.
- CCQ competency cards tracked employee by employee, with reminders before expiry; trades and occupations on the employee record.
- Payroll preparation under the collective agreements: rates, deductions, 13% vacation and CCQ statutory holidays, employer contributions — official formulas (TP-1015.F, T4127) transcribed to the cent.
- TD1 and TP-1015.3 credits per employee; payroll register and pay slips; exports ready for your accountant or your payroll software.
- T4 in XML for the CRA, RL-1 as a transfer sheet to the prescribed Revenu Québec form, source deductions, record of employment; monthly CCQ report.
What it doesn't do
BatiCore PREPARES payroll: it pays nothing out and transmits nothing officially. That boundary is deliberate — transmission goes through your accountant or an approved payroll software.
RL-1 in XML and Revenu Québec certification are on the roadmap; in the meantime, the transfer sheet to the prescribed form.

Does BatiCore do my payroll?
It prepares it: indicative calculation of rates, deductions, CCQ leave and slips, from approved timesheets, with exports ready for your accountant or your payroll software. It doesn't handle payments or the official transmission to the authorities — that boundary is a decision, not a gap.
Is the 13% CCQ vacation pay calculated?
Yes. The 13% annual leave and statutory holiday indemnity is calculated on wages, tracked per employee and taken out of the net — it is remitted to the CCQ, which pays it to the employee. The accumulated balance is read in the Absences tab.
What happens when a competency card expires?
Each card has its own expiry, tracked employee by employee — never a global date. Reminders go out before expiry, the schedule surfaces it, and the certifications table shows at a glance who is up to date and who no longer is.
