How does BatiCore compute the margin of a job site in progress?
By comparing, phase by phase, the planned cost with the actual cost — timesheets × rates, purchase orders, equipment hours, subcontracting — not with the selling price. The overrun alert fires while there is still margin left; the end-of-project projection says what the job will cost if it keeps going at the same pace.
Can I pay a subcontractor whose CNESST certificate has expired?
BatiCore shows you before the payment — Compliance column in red on the subcontractor's record, with the expiry date. It doesn't block the payment: the decision stays yours, but you make it knowing your joint liability.
